My short story (2022-)

At the end of 2022 I decided to leave my job without the immediate prospect of landing another job. Why? My body gave me signs that something was not right. I felt a growing sense of detachment and alienation from the people around me. I also felt ‘stuck’ in an overwhelming daily routine which generated frustration and cynicism. There was no pleasure in what I was doing and I was losing empathy which had always been my fuel.

In short, I was emotionally numb and my light was dimmed down.

Hearing my inner voice, I decided to give myself time and space. I knew was that whatever I was stepping into had to fulfil the below:

★ Be of service to others

★ Have creative freedom

★ Be aligned with my values & respect my needs

So, here I am - taking that leap of faith that what I have to give will be received 🧡
